De Country Artist zijn gestart in 1978 en komen uit Tanworth-in-Arden, Warwickshire, Engeland. Het was in deze tijd dat het gebruik van traditionele materialen gemengd met harsen voor het eerst werd gewaardeerd. Door de jaren heen zijn de vaardigheden van de modelbouwers en kunstenaars veranderd waardoor ze zeer gedetailleerd te werk gaan. Ze zijn nu bekend over de hele wereld.
